I have a couple of stories laying around that no one save a handful of beta readers have ever read (and one that was part of a collaborative novel, a few years back). Rather than try to submit them places and harvest rejections, I’ve decided to throw my hat into the self-publishing ring! My goal, here, is to see if I can generate about $100 in sales, this week. That’s probably not much to most folks, but not only would it help me out, it would be somewhere close to what these stories might have earned the traditional way. If I earn a bit more . . . well, it’s a win-win.

I have two novellas and a short story (plus some bonus material), all between 13K and 16K words. They’re available in the following formats: epub, mobi, or pdf. Xenia in the Court of the Winds
This was my offering for the Sea of Sorrow collaborative novel. It’s a fresh take on the myth of the Cyclops, envisioning him as an historical figure who got the crap-end of the stick rather than a mythological creature. And, it features a rather despicable Odysseus . . .
It clocks in at a respectable 16,120 words, and contains some of my most beautiful prose (IMO).

This one might be of particular interest for fans of the blog. It’s an Orctober surprise! “Beasts of Waste and Desolation” is a short story from Grimnir’s wandering days. It’s a bit under 5K words, BUT . . . it’s paired with a sneak-peek at the forthcoming Grimnir novel, The Doom of Odin!
