Sailing the Seas of WordPress

I’ve been a devotee of Blogger since 2004; I’ve racked up an impressive number of posts on my old blog, Echoes of a Forgotten Age, but I think the time has come for a change.  Thus . . . The Wine-Dark Seas!  This will be a blog about things fantastical and historical: writing, reading, and gaming.

And thus, we begin . . .

“And someday one will say, one of the men to come, steering his oar-swept ship across the wine-dark sea:  ‘there’s the mound of a man who died in the old days, one of the brave whom glorious Hector killed.’  So they will say, someday, and my fame will never die.”  Iliad, Book 7, lines 101-105
